Cannabalism of right to speech: Sibbalism!

There has been a lot of criticism of Mr Kapil Sibbal, the Minister of Communication and Information Technology for trying to screen derogatory content on the internet, specifically on Google & Facebook. Most of the criticism that were circulating on internet were humorous but ironically the content were intentionally derogatory to Mr Sibbal and the political party that he represents. Other concerned people have been talking about the 'purely' democratic medium that internet represents and how such an action would take away their democratic rights. Further there had been other comments which points towards human right violation by government in their intention to control the internet and therefore freedom to speech. 

Personally, I have stopped expecting intelligence from this government and the ministers that represents it. For quite a sometime the ministers of Government have developed a reputation of a village idiot who would ignominiously try to put his best foot forward followed by putting it in his mouth and ending up shooting it!
